Black Bean Salsa

Black Bean Salsa – This black bean salsa dip is incredibly easy to make, and packed full of amazing flavor with black beans, corn, tomato, red onion, and some jalapeno for a nice kick!

Ingredients

  • 15 Ounce Can Black Beans, Drained and rinsed
  • 1 Cup Corn, Fresh, canned (drained), or frozen
  • 1 Medium Tomato, Diced
  • 2 Jalapenos, Seeded and diced
  • 1/2 Red Onion, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Cilantro, Chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine the black beans, corn, diced tomato, jalapenos, and cilantro.

  2. In a small bowl whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and cayenne.  Pour over the black bean mixture.

  3. Chill the salsa for 30 minutes before serving.
