Blueberry Jam Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 Cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 stick butter melted

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 Tablespoon blueberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare an 8×8 or 9×9 pan with non stick spray and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, and cocoa powder with a whisk.
  4. Add the salt and baking powder and whisk again for one minute.
  5. In a medium bowl combine the eggs and vanilla.
  6. Add the egg mixture and butter to the flour mixture, stir to combine.
  7. Pour mixture into prepared 8×8 pan.
  8. In a medium bowl beat the cream cheese for 30 seconds.
  9. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla, and beat for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  10. Spread the cream cheese topping onto brownie mixture.
  11. Using a teaspoon, drop the blueberry jam all over the top of the cream cheese.
  12. Using a butter knife, swirl the jam through the cream cheese mixture.
  13. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  14. Cool completely before cutting.
